So, you've seen my books, my cards and photographs, here's a bit of info on the source:

I am Louise R. Shaw, the mother of two girls and two boys, now ages 21 to 26. I obtained a degree in journalism from USU and worked as a reporter until my first child was born. From that time 'til this, when my youngest child has left the nest, I wrote and photographed life as a hobby, in between raising children and serving in my community and church. Now that my full-time motherhood responsibilities are lighter, I am working to turn my hobbies into a rewarding business. I am anxious to share those things I have discovered that are so meaningful to me.

My husband of 28 years is my best friend. We returned to Utah two years ago after having spent most of our married life in Oregon. My husband is a good man and a great father and I appreciate his support of my hobbies and our shared love of travel. 

We were blessed to make our first visit to Japan last year, in addition to making return trips to the gorgeous Oregon Coast and the breathtaking Hawaiian islands.
