We had only a late afternoon and evening in Washington D.C. this time. But it was beautiful. When we'd last visited earlier this year, it poured for three days straight and no pictures were memorable. This short visit made up for it.
Washington D.C. is an incredible place. The mall of museum and monuments to freedom and those who fought for it are a real tribute not only to the history of this country, but to its priorities and beliefs. It is vast and it is significant. It is beautiful.
